Event Assistant / Banquet Host

This dual role provides administrative support for our Event and Catering department while also hosting Banquet events. Administrative duties will include: answering phone calls, responding to emails, printing special event menus, preparing special event packets, as well as any additional support needed. As a Banquet Host you must possess solid communication skills and attention to detail. This individual will be responsible for interacting with guests in a calm and genuine manner while providing information and direction during events. Requires afternoon and late evening availability.

Seeking talented and experienced dance instructors for the live country music/venue side of The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon. Must be competent to teach all the traditional and newer line dances and as well as all Two Step variations, West Coast Swing, Denver Cha Cha, Watermelon Crawl, Beer on the Table, etc. 2+ years experience required.

DJ - Country Music Venue

The Ranch Saloon, located in Anaheim is seeking an experienced back-up DJ to provide classic and current country music. In this role you will contribute to ensuring overall guest satisfaction and enjoyment. The qualified candidate will have experience working in a Country Western Dance Hall or Club as well as an understanding of DJ/Karaoke equipment and some knowledge of music selection for dance lessons/general dancing.

The Ranch Restaurant and Saloon is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with 5+ years of restaurant marketing management experience. Experience will Include:
  • Executing restaurant/saloon marketing programs and platforms to increase customer satisfaction, retention and referrals.
  • Explore new and innovative ways to develop ongoing relationships with consumers.
  • Planning restaurant, saloon and private or banquet promotional events.
  • Securing placement of media for special events.
  • Social Media - Plan, strategize and execute creative content development for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and You Tube.
  • Maintain competitive analysis - restaurants and country music venues.
  • Writing / formatting press releases and secure placement.
  • Manage In-Design (desktop publishing app).
  • Design & Set-Up photo shoots.
  • Manage, create & implement weekly E-mail database campaigns.
  • Design, implement & execute tradeshow booth displays.
  • good working knowledge of web design, site maintenance for top performing engine results and app design.
  • Successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Design in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.

    All Cooks are responsible for delivering the highest quality food and service. Cooks are responsible for following Company recipes at all times as well as:
    • Demonstrate and promote The RANCH culture, always positively representing the Company
    • Embrace teamwork within the restaurant, creating a positive work environment
    • Must be able to communicate clearly with his/her managers and his/her teammates
    • Maintain the high level of food quality and standards established by the Executive Chef
    • Properly execute all recipes
    • Ability to perform all essential duties during a lengthy, high-volume and high-pressure service
    • Execute food production and plating, according to stated spec and timing
    • Maintain a clean, clutter free and organized station at all times
    Qualified Candidates will have:
    • Culinary degree preferred, with 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
